iMac 12,2 - What DisplayPort version does it have?

Hello,

I am checking which display port version my older iMac has. I like to buy an additional display but I also like to have HDMI 2.0 capabilities for 4K devices which is the reason not to buy a Thunderbolt display.

I looked everywhere to find an exact answer to that question however I did not find it 100% sure.

So, can anyone help me here?

If your iMac version that you have said is correct, then your DisplayPort is a Mini DisplayPort output with support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI no HDMI capabilities as listed on Apple's webpage.

thanks for the answer however I am looking for the actual version of the DisplayPort - so from your answer is it 1.1a?
