iMovie fails to download from App Store

I am running MBP 2012 13" and after reinstalling Mountain Lion I constantly get download failed when I try to download it from the purchases page. Any idea on how this can be fixed?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

I have a similar problem, but after upgrading to EC. The download from the App Store quits without notice.
