Oct 6, 2015 2:54 PM in response to pinkky2kby rkaufmann87,Office 2007 is for MS Windows PCs, therefore it will not work on your Mac in OS X. However if you install MS Windows on your iMac you could use it. Tell your employer that he really should have gotten Office for Mac 2011 or Office 365.

Oct 6, 2015 3:02 PM in response to pinkky2kby Allan Eckert,Personally I would ignore the Office 2007 you were given. It will be more problems then it is worth.
My suggestion would be to test LibreOffice and see if it fits your needs. It is free and a version is available for the Mac which is years newer Office 2007.
