How do i keep drudge report from auto refreshing?

How do you keep Drudge Report from auto refreshing every 30 seconds? I am using Safari on a MACbook Air mid 2013 running Yosemite 10.10.5

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), iOS 9.0.2

My advice would be to stop reading The Drudge Report, and then you won't have to worry about it auto-refreshing anymore.

You can't stop it. The refresh is driven by the site, not by Safari.
