I recently installed and formatted a Transcend 256GB JetDrive Lite 130 ssd card on my 13" Macbook air. I want to use it to store pictures for future editing with Photoshop Elements. What is the best method of organizing photos on this drive?
I don’t know that it is the best way but for finding my photos I think in terms of time - it was in the fall right after I broke my leg. Must have been Oct/Nov of 2009. For that reason I put a folder in my Pictures folder called Digital Photos. Inside that folder my folders are named by year and inside each of them I have 12 folders, one for each month. In the unlikely event I don’t have any photos for that month I delete it.
