El Capitan - bluetooth streaming choppy

I have a 21.5" late 2012 iMac that I just upgraded to El Capitan (OS X 10.11). Now all of my music from iTunes or Radium sounds choppy on my Bose Soundlink Mobile Speaker II. It worked fine on Yosemite. Anyone having a similar issue with any Bluetooth speakers?

Same problem for me with my bluetooth headset Pioneer SE-MJ561BT and I have nothing else connected to my Macbook air 11 late 2014. Lags in Spotify, streaming in Safari, VLC and so on.

Worked fine with Yosemite.

Tried reinstalling El Capitan, clean install, deleted boot camp, terminal trix....

My bluetooth speaker seems to be ok.

I have this issue every week or two. I am using Edifier Spinnaker bluetooth speakers, Apple Bluetooth Keyboard, and Apple Bluetooth Trackpad. When it presents itself I experience choppy audio with a corresponding hiccup in the bluetooth trackpad. I know the issue is between my trackpad and speakers, as disconnecting either will resolve the issue of the other. Immediately re-connecting either device will cause the issue to come back.

My solution so far is when it happens is to just turn off both the keyboard and mouse for ~1 minute (hold the power button on the side to turn the device off), and then turn them back on.
