I understand that Apple removed certain apps from the app store. My question is: I I paid for Intego virus barrier for iOS from the Apple app store and it was discontinued in the app store for iOS 9, is there a refund?
Any information would be of great appreciation.

Generally speaking there are no refunds for purchased apps, though this may help: https://reportaproblem.apple.com
"Anti-virus" apps serve no purpose on iOS. The goal of "anti-virus" peddlers is to take your money and run. Don't give it to them to begin with.
