Cannot use audio and camera at the same time!

I have a new iPhone 6S Plus. I take many photographs. With this new phone, if I access the camera while listening to music, audiobook or podcast, the audio shuts off. This happens whether "live" photos is selected or not. The folks at Apple know nothing of this new "feature", and if this bug is not fixed, it's a deal breaker for me; I will return the phone.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

1) Get an account at

http://developer.apple.com/ then submit a bug report to http://bugreporter.apple.com/

Once on the bugreporter page,

-- click on New icon

-- See if you need to attach a log file or log files, clicking on Show instructions for gathering logs. Scroll down to find the area or application that matches the problem.

-- etc.

2)

Restore to factory settings by loading the latest version of ios that your machine will support:

Do a full backup of your device. Twice is best -- cloud and computer.

"You can use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to factory settings and the latest version of iOS."

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

"You can put your iOS device into recovery mode, then restore it using iTunes.:

3) Take to store. See if they can fix problem. Likely, they will swap to a new machine if they cannot fix.

Thank you. 1. That sounds like a lovely idea, but there's no way I'm paying apple $99 for the privilege of pointing out Apple's bugs to them.

2. Tried it, no help.

3. I will, however return to the store. I am not expecting a "fix" for this new "feature" anytime soon.

Without Steve Jobs, Apple might as well be Microsoft. Sadly, excellence seems to be a thing of the past for Apple..
