Currently, my iPhone 5 software version is 8.1.1. However, I tried to update my software to iOS 9.0.2 but when I click download and install, they ask to click the agreed button. Once I click the agree button, nothing happen. Why cant I update my software thru the phone? I am unable to update the software thru the iTunes as my laptop is down. Please advise.

Try this and see if it then will let you. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything.
You can also go to a different computer and update through iTunes there, it does not have to be your own. However do not try to sync from that computer, just update the software.
