iPhone 6s dropping wifi signal/network

Hi, I just upgraded from an iPhone 5 to a 6s 128GB (9.0.2) yesterday. And before I even connected it to iTunes for the first time I was experiencing wifi issues. It would suddenly drop the connection, forcing me to go into settings and select my wifi network, or in some not so rare cases, it forgets the network entirely and forces me to re-enter the password. I have wifi assist off. And I have done a hard reset. Still nothing. Please help! Thanks.

P.S. I do not believe it is an issue with my router, my iPhone 5 never had an issue with any network I used, today I tried several and each one my 6s kicked me from.

I'm having the same issue even though that my 5S still works perfectly fine on my router and so does the other devices at my home place.

I fail to understand why does the 6S keeps dropping the wifi signal for no odd reason and even tells me that the password I input is incorrect, even though it is correct
