my new iphone 6 camera lens has smashed - can Apple fix it? It is the back camera with the brass ring around it and I have been told that the whole camera would need to be replaced. Would this cost anything?

If you purchased AppleCare for your iPhone that covers up to two incidents of accidental damage. Read here.
Without AppleCare, you will have to pay for the repair as accidental damage is not covered under the one year limited warranty.
