iPhone 6s Plus has A9 chip manufactures OEMs Samsung and Toshiba for the iPhone 6 S series . How can a person find out if the chip a nine in the phone is Samsung APL 0898 chip or Toshiba APL 1022 chip?
IS there a way to look up what Oem A9 chip manufacture is in the iPhone 6s Plus by the serial number. Or by some unknown app?

Apple is dual sourcing processors and the Samsung chip is notorious for having significantly worse battery life for the new phones.
there was an app i heard about on macrumors.com - - i installed it and that had to go trust it - you can then run it and it will tell you which chip you have - i then uninstalled it - my 6s+ has the Samsung chip and battery life has been great

I have the Samsung chip also on my 6s Plus and my battery life has been noticeably worse than my 6 Plus.
