Profile Manager Crashing in web interface

Hi All,

Having an interesting issue with a MacPro running 10.11 & server 5.0.4 (the issue has been happening for a while now (even in server 4 & 10.10.x)

When logged onto profile manager after a few minutes, or when searching AD groups/users it will flag an error and say it has crashed and click reload to continue.

This is regardless of where you access profile manager from (same machine, different machine, ethernet, wireless etc)

Really not sure how to trouble shoot this one. Happy to pull some logs and put them up here.

Hi

We have a similar problem with our servers. In Server 4 this only happend now and then. Felt mostly cosmetic, if I may say so. :-)

After upgrading to Server 5.0.4 we are experiencing extreme high CPU and RAM usage on the client, we are talking about 100% CPU and 17GB RAM while loading Profilemanager and after a couple of minutes we usually get "A Server Error has occurred".

We have found out that this behavior happens to installations with more than 1000 devices, it seems that we have som funky code in the javascript.

I have filed a bug report on bugreport.apple.com, if you can please file a bug report so that we get some priority on this case.
