Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I understand that you are getting repeated kernel panics after installing El Capitan. The following article will provide guidance on troubleshooting kernel panics and should help you sort out what might be going on.

Oct 8, 2015 7:11 PM in response to jeffd55by clontoc,Hi jeffd55,
I tried following the steps. I installed OS X on my external drive and booted the system from there. It worked perfectly with no errors. My computer is up to date with the apps store except for some random angry bird update. I installed OS X again, and waited it out. I returned back to the recovery mode options. What should I do now? How do I create an image on my external drive to back up my files? The old forums are for previous OS X. I tried creating an image from Macintosh HD and it said error. What should I do? Thanks

At this point it appears you might be better served by another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.
