My iPhone isn't recognized by iTunes, but is recognized by my laptop.

When i plug my iPhone 5S (version 9.0.2) into my HP laptop it isn't recognized by the latest version of iTunes. I am wanting to put songs from iTunes onto my iPhone but my device doesn't appear. My iPhone is recognized by my laptop because it charges and i get the auto play options for what i want to do with my iPhone. Also when i connect my iPhone, my laptop makes a couple of sounds and then it makes a deeper sound.

If anyone knows the problem please help me because i am completely stuck and have no idea what to do.
