Bug After Update iOS 9.0.2 iPad

My mom updated her iPad to this iOS 9.0.2 and now there are a bunch of bugs. It turns off suddenly, the screen doesn't recognize the touch all the time, the darkness recognition doesn't work, which make the machine to stay awake instead of going to sleep by itself, and at the same time, it warms up. The battery life (when it doesn't turn off spontaneously), dies quickly.

Help!

PS: I can't figure the type of this iPad. I think she bought it on May 2013.

User troubleshooting steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Test after each step. If you restore as new and without adding any additional content the device still does not work correctly, make a Genius Bar appointment and have the device examined by Apple.
