How can I create an exponent in the pages application?
I am having difficulty typing exponents in pages and keynote. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this task?

Hi,
Do you mean superscript?
Type this:
The yield of wheat was 5 kg ha-1 in the unfertilised plots.
Select -1
Menu > Format > Font > Baseline > Superscript
The yield of wheat was 5 kg ha-1 in the unfertilised plots.
Or,
Format Panel > Text > Font > Gear Wheel (Advanced Options) > Baseline > Superscript
Regards,
Ian.

Simple superscripts inline with text as pointed out by Yellowbox. Complicated mathematical superscripts/equations formed with Grapher in Applications/Utilities, are selected/dragged/dropped into Pages as an image. Alternate is the MathType trial that integrates into the Pages Insert menu.
TThanks, exactly what I was looking for.
