Help deleting Apple ID from iPad

Please help....My device has become corrupt and requires a total reinstall. The issue is that my son originally registered the iPad using his AppleID a few years ago. He no longer has access to his emails, has forgotten his security questions and has forgotten the password.

I cannot get any further without apparently providing this information so need a way round it?

Please help - I'm getting a little desperate!

If you were the original purchaser of the iPad and can prove it with a receipt

showing the serial number of the iPad from Apple or an Apple authorized iPad retailer,

take that proof of purchase and the iPad to the nearest Apple store where they

may assist you. Make an appointment to avoid delay.

If you were not the original purchaser or do not have proof, your son will have

to remove his AppleID and password. He can start here:

Find your AppleID: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid

You can get your appleID password reset at iforgot.apple.com
