Hi I have lost the ability to see my personal mailboxes on my macbook air, I must have hit a wrong button in error but it is very frustrating as I have a lot of stuff moved to them. Any ideas would be grateful accepted..

If the Mailboxes list/ sidebar is hidden, click on "Mailboxes" in the Favorites bar to show it.

TThis does not work for me. I can see all my top mailboxes relating to email accounts but cannot see those that I created lower down. Ie persoanl, correspondence.etc.
Launch Mail.
Click Mail in the menubar.
Select "Accounts".
When Internet Accounts window shows up, Select 'iCloud".
Then uncheck and recheck the box beside "Mail".
Close the window and try Mail again.
This did not help me nor the suggestions for unchecking and checking my iCloud Mail. It is very frustrating.
Move the mouse pointer over to to the right to the the "Mailboxes" the first item in the Mail's sidebar and hover over next to the "+" sign.
Does "Show" shows up? If so, click on it.
I Finally took it to my local Apple shop and that is what they did. Now have all my mailboxes back what a relief,! Thanks for your help.
