iPAD 4 issue with battery charge after IOS 9.0.2 upgrade

iPad 4 has started acting really bad in terms of battery back up after iOS 9.0.2 upgrade.

Charging time from empty to full is about 3 hrs (earlier before upgrade took 5 hrs)

While device is being used battery discharges pretty quickly once 100 % charge is over.

Even when device is in sleep mode battery discharges with out any app running in background.

Once after getting back from sleep mode device shuts down and indicates to connect charger.

For eg:- once device is in sleep mode you can find it dead even though 35% charge is left from previous usage. Then after connecting charger, device starts up with 35% battery,if charger is disconnected device will work for 10-20 min after which it will go dead, then charger has to be reconnected to bring up device.

Also noticed that battery back up for one full charge is only 5 hours where it used to be 10 hours before upgrade.
