Iphone 6s is not connecting to headphones via bluetooth

Hello,

unfortunately my iPhone 6s is not connecting to my Sony WDR ZX770BN headphones. They are brand new and work perfectly fine with my iPhone 5 (latest iOS) but my 6s doesn't even display them in the bluetooth menu. So i can't even pair them.

I have tried to on the phone first and then the headphones and vice versa. They do work with a cable-connecting.

Any ideas?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2

read the sony headset manual as how you put the headset into pairing / discovery mode that is required to connect to a device it has not connected with before

this is a little embarrassing and as much as I hat to admit it: Yes the answer is in the manual of the headset. The headphones were lockt to my previous phone and would not engage with any other device.

If the question occurs to someone else, here is the url of the needed passage in the manual
