SD card malfunctioning after upgrading to Windows 10

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro retina late 2012. I had Windows 8.1 installed through bootcamp for a while and everything was working perfectly until i upgraded to Windows 10.

The SD card started malfunctioning. The SD card I have installed is a Nifty Minidrive with a Lexar 64gb UHS-I/U3 micro SDXC formatted in ExFat (tried FAT as well). Windows isn't recognizing the card and it's asking to format it. When I try to format, it says Windows was unable to format the drive.

Meanwhile, if I reboot into OS X, the card works perfectly without any problem.

Any thoughts ?
