How do I get a whatsapp backup from iPhone4 to iPhone6S?

iTunes has failed to transfer all my whatsapps when doing a backup and restore (no surprise there then).

So resorted to iCloud to try to move over a whatsapp backup from my old iPhone4 to my new iPhone6S.

However, the iP4 uses iCloud whereas the new iP6S uses iDrive so now I'm stumped as one can't talk to the other.

Anyone have any suggestions? Otherwise the iP6S has to go back as I'm not dumping all my messages... 😟
