usb speakers dont work

usb speakers dont work

I have a Tango Bar speaker that has worked fine until today. Now the sound comes out of the iMac speakers. It is plugged in (lit up) and the Sound outp[ut in the Sound Preferences is set to USB Sound Device.

Any suggestions on the problem, and a fix?

Try doing both a SMC and PRAM reset, if they don't work the first time do up to 2-3 times. If that still doesn't work, replace the USB cable and re-try.

or check for a newer driver from the makers

there are no usb speakers all usb speakers are really usb audio cards with connected speakers and the driver

is not generic so each can have their own
