Overheating Macbook Pro

This might not apply to you but it is an observation

Macbook Pro mid 2009 constant overheating traced it down to what you might say is ironic as the machine got hot the fan would go and as the fan spun the fan generated more heat the more heat the faster the fan went and faster the fan would go to compensate.

Used fan control and told it to use a sensor not so close to the fan

viola it works like a dream

This was just to share my experience.
