Notification sounds not working properly since updating to IOS 9

Since updating to IOS 9.0 my notification/text/call sound's only work every now and again. I then updated to IOS 9.0.1 then 9.0.2 thinking the issue would be fixed but it's not. Most of the time I have to look at my phone to see if I have any notifications/texts. It's So frustrating, can anyone help?
