Upgraded Notes... but then downgraded el capitan back....

I upgraded my notes on my ios devices, and also upgraded iMac to El Capitan.

El Capitan broke too much to want to keep though - TotalFinder (permanent break) and Adobe Indesign CS6 unusable.. I rely on these two pieces of software too much, so downgraded back to Yosemite

Am I now permanently stuffed with synching notes?
