Intelligent search OS X 10.11: search website gone?

Now that I've updated my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012) to OS X El Capitan, the address and search bar in Safari does not search on the website I'm on anymore.

In the Safari settings, I've ticked all boxes under "search" and then under "intelligent search". So why is Safari not searching the website I'm viewing? Did Apple remove the feature with El Capitan?

I know I could also use cmd + F to bring up the "search website"-bar, but it was so much easier to just type the word you wanted to search on the website into the address bar and instantly see the results.

Any idea on how to bring that back?
