Find other files show it at storage in MacBook Pro

I don't know what files in my MacBook Pro 13" it's show 77.3GB, how can I find what kind the file use a lot of my storage.

OTHER is a poorly named category that once you understand what it is, should not be obsessed over:

Download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Transfer to an external HDD or delete files you no longer want on your MBP. This should allow you to 'clean up' your MBP.


Do not forget to empty trash. Only then is space allocated for new data.
