IPAD 2 Problems after updating IOF

Apple ID ********.com I updated the latest IOF successfully. It requested a"passcode". My password does not work, tried a new password, no luck. Cannot access internet. need help!

My screensaver appears, when I swipe it requests my passcode stating that " IPAD requires your passcode after restarting" Since I have forgotten my password I requested another. Neither one works. Cannot access my Ipad.

PLease suggest what to do.

Welcome to Apple Support Communties.


If I understand correctly, you can't remember the passcode to unlock your iPad which may now be disabled. The article below provides a lot of great information about the passcode feature and it should help resolve the issue.
