SWAMPED BY COOKIES SINCE OCTOBER 1

With the latest update of Safari (9.0) on october 1st, I am experiencing an abnormal high amount of cookies deposited on my

MacBook Pro Notebook...In my "Confidentiality" set-up of Safari, I have not changed the access (Only sites visited) but now, when I

check the cookies deposited, I have cookies from Facebook, Twitter etc...even if I have NEVER been on these sites !!!

PLEASE HELP...
