Any help on a broken phone?

My I phone 5 was water damaged, it was working perfectly fine apart from it couldn't pick up any signal so I decided to wipe my phone - but half way through, it shut itself down. Now when I turn it on, it shows the apple display screen and then turns off again. I have tried charging it and pressing the power button for 30 seconds but that does not work. Any ideas?
