It is bad to leave IPhone 6S in low power mode forever?

So I purchased an IPhone 6S yesterday since my plan with Verizon enabled me to get an upgrade. I was so unsatisfied with the battery of my IPhone 5s it would last me from 9am to about 2pm before it was completely out of juice. Apple came out with an update for low power mode, which did help battery last till about 5pm. I didn't like how you couldn't keep the 5S in low power mode forver, but I noticed I can do this with my new IPhone 6S(even after it charges to 100% it still stays in low power mode)...AWESEOME!!! I don't notice any difference except that my IPhone 6S has gone 2 hours now and is still at 100% (best feature ever!!!) So my question is as stated, is it harmful to leave the IPhone 6S in low power mode forver?

Thank you,

Tyler

Came across this thread. I've used low power mode since introduced. Has been great for my battery life. When I forgets to turn it on, definitely notice the decline in battery life. Without low power mode, by evening battery is dead. With lower power mode, by the end of the day I'm still at 30-50%.

What I've never understood in why Apple can't provide the option to leave low power mode always on? As a long time user, there is nothing I use the phone for that is affected by low power. My Alerts still come through, no detrimental affects. The biggest frustration I have is after every charge, I must remember to turn low power back on.

I couldn't agree more! I use my phone at work all day, but primarily for listening to podcasts while I'm driving. I am usually able to get to a charger (in my car) but if I get over 80% low power mode turns off. Then when I get to my next location I drain my battery just having it on.

Even just having an option to set the battery or low power button to a quick menu (like my android does) would be very helpful. Bottom line: we need *options*.

Low Power Mode reduces or turns off Email fetch, Hey Siri, Background app refresh, Automatic downloads, Wi-Fi associations, and some visual effects. If you can live without having those features available on the phone, you can keep it on low power mode. But after you charge your iPhone to 80% or higher, Low Power Mode automatically turns off, so you'll have to turn it back on again.
