I have an iPhone 4S with 16GB and every day I see my storage capacity is small
I currently have 7.7GB used and 5.5 GB free. I checked some of my apps are considering and I got 3GB So how have another additional 4.7GB used?

Without knowing exactly what it is you are looking at, it difficult to tell. Can you provide a screen shot?

Not all "content" will show up in an app listing in Usage. It is only intended for approximation. Adding up the numbers in the list will not necessarily be accurate.

I am having issues with iPhone 6 Plus 16 Gb.. even after updating to IOS 9, it shows IOS has taken up almost 5GB but apple claims new IOS is only 1 or 2 GB in size. I think apple is misrepresenting about IOS 9 software size.... now I am left with only 1.5 GB with only 89 songs and 1000 images with no videos. I am very upset with apply... I hope apple comes up with some solution or I will be switching to samsung. 1 iPhone user less ------
The only claim apple has made to size if for the download files, not the actual installed OS. Also, storage on the device is not limited to songs and images.
And nobody here really cares if you switch to Samsung. If you think it suits your needs better, by all means ...
