my iMessage is not working for some of my contacts since the newest update anyone know how to fix this it is very frustrating and it does not tell you if the message was delivered

yes it is very frustrating I even went to my cell provider yesterday and they tried several things and nothing worked I'm about to get a new phone thinking about switching from iphone I've always been partial to the iPhone and have had one since they come out but the problems are getting to be too frustrating for me I do business from my phone and can't if I my messages are not working
I would contact Apple b/c it's not a provider issue it's an apple issue... I hope they resolve this asap b/c it's very frustrating and I can't understand why so many people are having issues with it and they aren't doing anything about it
