Cant make calls through iPad and not receiving messages on iPad or mac after IOS 9.0.2 Update

Hi,

Handoff and continuity were working fine till i updated the devices to IOS 9. first place Spotlight doesn't show contacts and added to that the continuity isn't working now. I am able to receive calls on iPad and mac but can't initiate a call from the devices except iPhone and even the message notifications aren't showing on iPad or mac.... I wish its fixed in the next update.. Mean time anyone has the same problem and found a solution for this problem. I would be great if you can share the fix for this.
