My iPad keeps asking me for my Apple ID password even when I am putting my correct password in meaning that I can not use my iPad, how do I stop this from happening?

Hi Carl,

I see from your post that you're randomly being prompted to enter your Apple ID password on your iPad. I'd like you to check your current downloads in the iTunes Store as a download might've been interrupted at one point. If you see a download there, all you need to do is resume it.

  1. Tap iTunes Store.
  2. On your iPhone or iPod touch, tap More at the bottom of the screen. Then tap Downloads.
    On your iPad, tap Downloads.
  3. If prompted, enter your Apple ID and password.
  4. Tap the blue download arrow next to a paused item to resume the download.
