6s Alarm - Issue with screen

I just upgraded from the 4s to the 6s. When my alarm goes off every morning, the screen no longer lights up. This is a problem in the dark because I can't see to hit the snooze button or turn the thing off. The screen always lit up when I had my 4s. Any suggestions?
