iPhone
Q: Photos won't display iPhone pictures unless booted into Safe Mode.
I have El Capitan on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM. Ever since I recently upgraded to El Capitan, Photos will not display my recently taken photos from my iPhone on the Import screen. Image Capture will not either.
I booted into Safe Mode, and Photos works as expected.
My 2014 iMac (which is still on Yosemite) is able to import as expected.
Please help!

Two things to try, Ross:
- First try, if removing the iPod Photo Cache from your library will help, see this document: About the iPod Photo Cache folder - Apple Support
- Remove the folder from the library as described and then try again.
- If that does not suffice, repair your Photos Library. But make a backup copy first. See this Help page: https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht6be18f93
