Why are my iMessages sending as green Text messages only to certain iPhones? They send as a blue messages and the receiver gets the message, but 2 minutes later it turns green and says sent as text message? How do I fix this? I have signed out and back in again. Turned messaging off and back on again. I have even reset my network settings and nothing is working! So frustrating!

There is nothing wrong with your phone or imessage it is working as intended.
When imessage is unavailable it will send it as an SMS. A reason is maybe you or the recipient are in an are with a weak wifi or cellular data signal.

Thanks for the reply, but I am on wifi and the people I am trying to text have full service. There is an issue with my phone, it has happened before.

My imessage does the same thing when I go fishing and the area I'm in has a week signal.
imessage not working reliably after ios 9.0.2 update.
it seems to be linked to iMessaging/texting people who have not upgraded to iOS9. i'm having the same problem but it only manifested since i upgraded to 9.0.2. people i text who have upgraded go through fine, but otherwise it's a mess.
