bluetooth not working el captain

for some reason the macbook pro does not want to pair with my iPhone.. both are running latest versions softwear..


it also seems that they do not communicate well... although on the same network... so if i open a website on my iPhone or a note and want to continue on my macbook..that does not work...


anybody idea's?

Hi Harry van der Loo,


I understand you are trying to pair your iPhone to your MacBook Pro to use Handoff and it's not working very well.


Note you don't actually pair the two with Bluetooth for Continuity and Handoff although Bluetooth must be on.

Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support


If you have gone through that article and everything seems setup correctly but it's still not working please see this article.

Get help using Continuity with your iOS device or your Mac - Apple Support
