I have made almost all the projects with files imported from folders. They are "raw" files taken with my Canon Cameras. No problems until today, when I imported new raw files from folders, and what´s my surprise when I try to open them, some of them Aperture says they are unsupported files.
Any idea?
Regards.
If you open the RAW's in Canon's ImageBrowser, do they open correctly (do not rely on the thumbnail image in Finder as this looks at an embedded JPG, not at the image data).
Can you open the problem images in iPhoto or Preview?
I can see correctly the files with iPhoto, Preview, and iView Pro, and I can open process them in PS.
The files came from Canon 30D and 10D
I imported them as usually: Menu-File-Import-Folders into a Projet.
What I´m going to do now is to import them again from the CD where I have made a backup and see what happens.
and one cause of problems like this can be if the images have been touched by other software that does update raw files (such as camera vendors' own software.)
i have a similar problem. though some of my eos 10d raw files appear fine in aperture and some not. this behaviour is the same when trying to watch the pictures in preview.
i did not have this problem prior 10.4.8 and aperture 1.5. or at least i did not notice since i upgraded to the eos 5d a while ago.
the problem is not appearing with jpg files.
any ideas?

An image that fails to render in Aperture and in Preview points at coreimage, which handles the RAW processing. JPG's are not handled in the same way (but I don't know whether they are handled by other functions in coreimage or other parts of OS X).
My suggestion would be to try reinstalling OS X 10.4.8 to recreate the coreimage libraries and seeing whether your issues "magically" disappear.
