I noticed that the Alarm app inside the Clock app has a new setting in iOS 9. When the Alarm goes off in the new iOS 9 it rings for only 15 minutes and then turns off or leaves snooze dialogue box. The iOS 8 Alarm clock stayed on till I turned it off. The latter is much preferred over the new version. Can the alert be set to ring till I turn it off? Thanks.

So I called Apple Tech Support and they suggested that I turn off the Snooze function. So I did a test and the alarm turned off after 15 minutes. I have an App for my iPad that I've been using as a backup and will test the iPhone version to see if it doesn't turn off after 15 minutes.

So until Apple fixes the Alarm clock app I will use Alarm Clock HD app in which the alarms ring until you turn them off.
