My phone turned off this morning and won't turn back on.

Okay. So here's the deal. This morning I was texting someone over Kik using LTE cellular data. When i was done, and went to Settings to turn it off, I BELIEVE (I'm not 100% sure) I managed to flip the switch to turn off cellular data. I managed to flip it before these lines started appearing on my screen. They covered it and more appeared, and a red rectangle with various other colors appeared at the bottom and slowly grew. Remembering an old trick from my iPod 4, I put it into DFU mode which shut it off. (I held the power button for five seconds, then the power button and the home button for ten) Now it won't turn back on. Any Ideas? I have an iPhone 5 by the way, and i believe iOS is 8.1.2. Please help me!! Thanks 🙂
