iphone 5 frozen on screen with weird codes for 3 days

I have an iphone 5. I recently did the iOS 9.0.2 upgrade (within the last week). The phone has been frozen on the "bootup" screen with these weird codes. Looks almost like a computer with a virus. Occasionally it will become unfrozen, and I will have about 2-3 minutes to use the phone before it freezes again, shuts down, and reboots to this screen and then stays like that for HOURS. (Holding the home and power button just repeats the process.) I have sometimes seen the screen flash blue.
