Apache config is messed up

This is the message when I run configtest:

httpd: Syntax error on line 495 of /private/etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 17 of /private/etc/apache2/extra/httpd-userdir.conf: Expected </IfModule> before end of configuration

Running Yosemite so I went through some online tutorials about turning on apache and this is where current am. Hopefully this is the correct forum and someone can help me. Thanks

From the error message, it sounds like you commented or uncommented part of an XML block, or made some other typo, so that you've got an uncompleted tag. If you could post make the first 30 lines or so of /private/etc/apache2/extra/httpd-userdir.conf, that wound be helpful.
