How do I copy a movie (in Theatre) to external hard drive from iMovie 10.0.9. (using El Capitan) ?

I used to drag and drop in Yosemite but since upgrading to El Capitan/ i Movie 10.0.9 this feature doesn't seem to work. Any ideas please?

MacBook Air (11-INCH, MID 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
