After upgrade to El Capitan Airplay devices not showing in Audio Midi Setup. Not able to stream music through other mfg. music player. (Audirvana) Will this be fixed?

Have contacted Apple help. They say that a Midi fix is coming in next update?? Don't know why this would have been removed. Probably thought the normal Airplay in I Tunes would suffice.
I am using 10.11.4 right now and there's still no Airplay in Audio-Midi-Setup nor can I select Airplay as audio ouput in System Settings: It does appear in the list but selecting it has no effect. In Sound Effects, Airplay does not appear in the list at all. Is there any workaround? With iOS, I can play videos and listen to the sound streaming to my stereo, but with the Macbook Pro I can't?
