iPad Air screen black with backlight on

Recently cracked the touch screen digitizer and had it replaced, but now the lcd screen doesn't work. The backlight turns on and the iPad makes sound, but nothing is shown on the screen. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to resolve it? Thanks!
