4k streaming on apple tv
why the new apple tv doesn't have 4k streaming yet?!
Because Apple chose not to include it. We are just users here and no one here knows why. There’s nothing we can do for you.

Apple is a great brand and they make awesome products.
But... Just now they started dating with 4k and decided to include 4k recording on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
For sake, the 4th gen. Apple TV has no 4k, still 1080p.

Extremely surprised and disappointed that the new Apple TV does not support 4K video streaming. Come on - at $250, the new Apple TV cost about 25% of a quality 4K tv nowadays- and no 4K support?!?

You are always free to purchase another product instead of lamenting what Apple chooses to do or not to do. For me the new device is the obvious choice for someone who desires seamless integration with the OS X and iOS ecosystem. Apple Music, iTunes, Home Sharing, AirPlay, Siri search, apps, games, easily trumps the lack of 4K for me. If all you do with a streaming device is watch movies then perhaps the Amazon Fire is for you as it does support 4K. 4K content is another matter altogether.
I Paid $164 including tax? That being said, since most of the 4K content is limited and 4K tvs have limited penetration apple decided to forgo with the first iteration and expect the next generation to include it. Just like the first iPhone didn't have LTE there was only limited demand/availability...

No one here knows why Apple did or did not include a particular feature and speculation is prohibited.
correct and the iPhone5 was the first to feature LTE which was released in 2012 - 3 years after the first commercial deployment of LTE...
